Copper tubes are used for numerous applications in electronic and household installations due to their excellent heat and electrical conductivity. As cooper is a relatively soft metal, it can also be easily shaped.
The following eddy current test systems are used for testing copper tubes:
DEFECTOMAT: The DEFECTOMAT test system scans copper tubes for point and transverse defects in the material and analyzes the results. Various versions are available to suit different types of application.
CIRCOGRAPH: The CIRCOGRAPH test system is suitable for testing copper tubes for longitudinal defects in the material surface. Rotating test heads scan the material in a helical path and without making contact.
