Division DM (Metal Detection and Magnetics) develops, manufactures, and markets measuring equipment for determining magnetic parameters such as flux density, permeability, magnetic saturation and coercive force, as well as magnetometers and metal detectors for geophysical prospection and detecting contaminated sites.
The systems are based on passive FOERSTER probes and active eddy current technology. The wide-ranging application spectrum includes the non-destructive material testing of carbides, magnetically soft metal components, sintered parts, as well as austenitic steels. The various methods allow the precise detection of specific material properties.
These devices are used in industrial environments as well as in medical technology, aerospace, and geophysics. Munition and mine detection, archeological investigation, as well as the three-dimensional detection and recording of magnetic fields round off the application possibilities.
